Activities:
Within the implementation phrase of the Project WO-MENT – Migant Women for Professional and Educational Insertion, the following activities – undertaken between the 1st October 2013 and 30th June 2014 - were carefully planned and carried out by the consortium partners:
September 2013 – November 2013: Project Management Planning: A general management of the Project WO-MENT started – from communication to the partnership to preparation of management and evaluation documents. The aim of this phase was to elaborate management tools which will be used during the whole duration of the project. All management documents are kept by coordinating organisation.
Results: executive project, organisations chart, meetings evaluation tool, partner contact book.
18 – 20 December 2013 - 1st Transnational Kick-off Meeting in Estella-Lizarra, Spain: The WO-MENT kick -off meeting was held in Estella-Lizarra between the 18th - 20th December 2013 and was hosted by the Co-ordinator partner, Ayuntamiento de Estella-Lizarra. The aim and achieved output of the two-day project kick-off meeting was (1) to enable project partners to get to know each other closely in a working medium; (2) to ensure that the project is coherent as a multilaral project and (3) to develop a synergy between partners. The partners also discussed the over-all aims and technical organization issues of the project.
During this meeting a general overview of the project and activities has been done. All partners present – ES, EL, PL and MT presented its own organisation and its main activities. The partners from IT did not participate in the kick off meeting because their application was still on the reserve list.
The partners present discussed and determined their respective institution's objectives for participating in the Project. The partnership rules were agreed upon by the consortium in order to implement the Project activities in the best possible way – partners discussed the roles of the co-ordinator and partners in the learning partnerships, the specificity of partnership projects and partnership rules for communication, documentation keeping and meeting organisation.
During the second day of the meeting, the partners had the opportunity to meet different mentors and mentees - migrant women during a workshop organized by the Ayuntamiento de Estella-Lizarra. Socio-cultural activities were also organized during the programme.
Results: management tools for project management defined and shared, definition of partner’s roles, mutual acknowledgement of participating organisations and the context and culture of hosting country;
January 2014: During the Kick Off meeting, the Partners agreed on preparing a logo design for the project before the second project meeting in Malta (May 2013). Logos were designed by the Geminarie Group (MT) and Responsible Citizens (EL). Online voting and selection of official logo took place end of January 2014.

February 2014: The co-ordinator (ES) notifies all partners that Italy’s application was approved for funding. Constant email communication between partners to establish and distribute tasks accordingly to reflect the increase of the consortium partners.
March - April 2014: The Geminarie Group (MT) proposed and drafted a general dissemination plan for the whole duration of the project. This was approved during the meeting in Malta (May 2014). Multikultura (PL) developed a Project blog www.wo-ment.weebly.com to save and disseminate the outputs of the Project. Agreement on blog to be reached during the partners’ meeting in Malta. Results: dissemination plan.
03 – 05 May 2014: 2nd Transnational Meeting in Malta: The 2nd Transnational Project Meeting was held in Malta between the 3rd - 5th May, 2014 and was hosted by the Geminarie Group. The meeting brought together the Partner Organizations, coming from: Spain (3), Greece (2), Poland (5) and the team from Malta (2). Partners from Italy did not participate in the meeting. The project partners present at the meeting evaluated the work done so far and agreed upon during the kick-off meeting. It was unanimously agreed by all partners present that a webpage was to be developed (instead of a blog) and that the partners purchase a domain name for the project.
In view of above, the Geminarie Group (MT) developed a website, www.wo-ment.eu in order (1) to save and disseminate the outputs of the project, (2) achieve an effective communication among the partners and (3) help raise awareness about the project and its objectives to different stakeholders. The project portal allows all interested parties to learn more about the project. The web portal also includes a file repository, updated on a regular basis in order to update all stakeholders about the activities undertaken in relation to the project and (b) to create awareness about the aims and objectives of the project. The web-portal is the official medium for constant updating with pertaining information.
The partners also agreed on using other forms of communication including social media. A facebook page was created and is managed/updated by the Geminarie Group (MT) and Responsible Citizens (EL).
May - September 2014: Basic ICT Training course materials development – during this phase of the project the basic ICT training materials is being developed.
Results: draft version to be finalized by the partners during the third Project meeting in Krakow (03 – 05 September, 2014).

The meeting brought together all the Partner Organizations, coming from: Spain (2), Greece (4), Italy (7), Malta (4) and the team from Poland (2). During the meeting, the partners discussed the correcting the professional project website. The partners also agreed that web-based communication should remain the main dissemination instrument for the WO-MENT project. As to the mentoring sessions, partners agreed to have face-to-face and/or online mentoring sessions in each respective country between September and April 2015.
October 2014 - February 2015: Work on the finalization of the mentoring tool and ICT Courses.
Results: Final Version of Mentoring Tool and Basic ICT Courses to uploaded online by the Fourth Project Meeting in Gerace, Italy (2-5 February 2015);
04 - 06 February 2015: 4th Transnational Meeting in Italy: The 4th Transnational Project Meeting was held in Gerace, Reggio Calabria, Italy between the 02nd - 5th February, 2015 and was hosted by EUROKOM Association. The meeting brought together all the Partner Organizations, coming from: Spain (3), Greece (4), Malta (3) and the team from Italy (5). Partners from Poland did not participate in the meeting.
February 2015 - June 2015: Piloting of ICT Courses with migrant women - organization of face-to-face and/or mentoring sessions between mentors and migrant women in respective countries. This phrase was originally planned to take place in between September 2014 - April 2015. The need was felt to delay the start of the mentoring session up to the launch of the mentoring tool and ICT Courses.
01 - 03 June 2015: 5th and Final Transnational Meeting in Greece: The 5th and final Transnational Meeting in Larissa, Greece will take place between the 1st - 3rd June, 2015. The aim of the meeting is to assess the results achieved and to discuss the finalization of the project deliverables. Further information to be uploaded soon.
